More than 1.5 thousand people took part in the work of the webinar on the treatment of pain and the availability of narcotic drugs organized by Roszdravnadzor jointly with the Gift of Life Foundation.
On February 28, 2017, Federal Service on Surveillance in Healthcare together with the Gift of Life Foundation held a webinar on the treatment of pain and the availability of narcotic drugs. 1,641 people took part in the event.
The webinar agenda covered the following issues:
- Modern requirements to the appointment, prescription and release of narcotic drugs for pain relief (Irina Krupnova, head of the licensing and control of observance of mandatory requirements of Roszdravnadzor);
- Specifics of chronic pain syndrome in palliative pediatrics: the incidence of chronic pain syndrome in children supervised by palliative care services; problems of prescription of opioid analgesics; the physiology of pain in children; principles of prescribing pain killers for chronic pain syndrome (Alexey Pshonkin, doctor-hematologist, Director of palliative care department of Gift of Life Foundation).
